Dr. Helmut Berger is an Austrian mechanical engineer with over 20 years professional experience in energy efficiency (building and industrial sectors) and renewable energy. As the Project Manager who has delivered various training programs in the scope of many international donor-funded projects, Helmut has extensive experience in the identification, management and development of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, verification of savings, verification of CO2 emissions of industries. He has been working with private, public and non-profit making organizations, including the European Commission, EBRD, World Bank and UNIDO. He has carried out numerous multi-stakeholder international projects in Asia, Central, South and Eastern Europe and Latin America.
