The first aspect: the organization providing IT information services
In the “first aspect”, Green approach in information technology is traced by focusing on the processes and methods of providing services in the “providing organization” of IT services. In this regard, the areas of: Water, Energy, Paper, Transportation, Waste, Air and Noise, Purchasing and Supplies of the Provider organization are assessed through the guide of green office. The weight of this amount is calculated as 30% of the total score of the green office.
The second aspect: IT information service equipment and technology
In this regard, the “productivity” of the operation of the equipment used in the service delivery process is focused. The amount of energy consumed, the life of the equipment, the conditions of the physical environment of operation, the mechanism of control and care of the equipment, the technical knowledge and ability (knowledge and skills) of the human resources of the operator and its management systems are audited. The third aspect: Software produced and used in IT information services
The third aspect is the impact of the software produced and used in the optimal consumption of resources. The areas of: paper, time, energy, fuel, environmental pollution reduction are audited. (The score of the third payment: 25% of the total)
The fourth aspect: waste from IT information services
In the fourth aspect, it is expected that the environmental impact (environment and health) of the equipment used in providing IT information services in their life cycle (during the period that is available to the organization) will be identified and reduced.
