Green Building Council
The Green Building Council aims to develop:
1- Creating a place to exchange opinions to introduce and promote green building expertise
2- Participation in the review and exchange of opinions related to regulations related to the environment and sustainable energy in green building
3- Building capacity and strengthening the community through supporting compliance with local regulations for green building
4- Providing services for networking and training opportunities including the entire building supply chain through holding seminars, workshops and gathering events.
5- Providing resources and information for the community active in sustainable green building
6- Supporting research in cooperation with the academic community of the country
7- Strengthening communication with green building pioneers at the international level and local industries
The mission of the Green Building Council
The mission of the Green Building Council of Iran as an independent institution is to try to shape policies for the field of building construction and facilitate cooperation for measures for sustainable development.
According to the group work activity, the Green Building Council operates in 4 working committees in the following order:
– Working group to review the qualification and acceptance of members
– Working group for training and organizing events
– Green Building Evaluation and Technical Working Group
– Marketing and communication working group
Education and training of Green Building experts
Due to the fact that virtual education has a decisive role in the successful organization of management courses and virtual education, the web conference system provides a meeting room-like space in managerial applications.
Since the reduction of costs and the maximum use of time is the concern of all organizations and council members today, training and information through the web conference system helps members to reduce their transportation and communication costs and also from Avoid wasting time in travel and commuting.
The Green Building Council has started trainings and providing information about green building regulations to the members of this council electronically and using the experiences of expert professors and approved by international authorities in other countries to organize the required meeting. To train green building evaluators and prepare them to participate in international exams, take an effective step to promote green building knowledge.
